For those wishing to enter the Baxter Cattle Company Rodeo being held on Sunday, September 25th at 3:00 p.m. in the Arena please see the following information:

Youth Sheep Scramble: Youth up to 10 years old race to pull ribbons from flock of sheep. No entry fee.
Youth Calf Scramble: First competitor to get the ribbon from the calf's tail is the winner. Youth 11-14 years old. No entry fee.
Wild Wool Ride: Youth attempt to ride a sheep - longest ride is the winner. For the welfare of the sheep 50 lb. weight limit. Children will be weighed at event...weight restriction will be enforced.
Adult Calf Scramble: Teams of two adults with a rope and a rope halter. Winner is the first team to rope, halter and lead a calf over center line. Maximum of 12 teams. Winner takes all. $10.00 entry fee per team.
Adult Barrel Racing: A Rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete a clover leaf pattern around three barrels in the fastest time. 5 second penalty for each barrel knockdown. Maximum of 10 entries. Placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. $10.00 entry fee.
Adult Steer Riding: Attempt to ride a steer for 8 seconds. Maximum of 12 riders. Placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. $10.00 entry fee.
Entry fees to be paid and waivers signed between 12 noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th but can pre-register at any time.

INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE WANTING TO ENTER FLOWERS, VEGETABLES, ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, HORSES, CATTLE, CHICKENS, etc. IN OUR VARIOUS COMPETITIONS you can access our Prize Lists by: clicking on "The Exhibition" in the left hand menu and when you do that another menu will come up down below and you have to click on "Prize Lists". I am posting the prize lists as they are completed so if the one you are looking for is not there when you try to download it please just check back in a day or two and it should be posted. If you are still unable to download the prize list please contact Debbie at 902-798-0000 for help!!
Our exhibition offers food, drink, water, first aid and wheelchairs. Parking @ $2.00 per vehicle.

Background of the Hants County Exhibition
First established in 1765, the Hants County Exhibition is the oldest continuously run agricultural fair in North America. Historically the property was developed and continues to be maintained by the Windsor Agricultural Society for the primary purpose of hosting an annual agricultural exhibition to promote agricultural awareness. Over the years the exhibition has evolved in a manner that has developed the assets, improved the site and been successful in fulfilling the Society's goal of hosting an annual exhibition event for the region...
